1.      The requesting party must be a paid ARN and GNCCARN member; or clinical student enrolled in a school of nursing and working on a rehab unit with interest in rehabilitation nursing.

2.      Scholarship funds may be approved for ARN supported conferences which include GNCCARN, ARN, Leadership, and Region 3 conferences.

3.      The member must have attended/participated in a GNCCARN activity within the last year.

4.      Scholarship money is limited to $100.00 per conference.

5.      Scholarship money may be used for registration fee, travel or lodging fees.  (Members)

6.      Recipients will be limited to one conference scholarship per year and two in three years to allow assistance to a greater number of members. 

7.      GNCCARN will prepay conference fee for student or member applicant. 

8.      Reimbursement for lodging/travel up to the approved amount will be paid after the conference.  (Not to exceed $100.00)  Copies of attendance certificates and lodging/travel receipts must be turned in to GNCCARN before reimbursement.  If no show at conference, applicant is responsible to pay GNCCARN for uncovered expenses.  

9.      Recipient will be notified prior to the conference registration deadline of approved funding.

10.  Scholarship money is nontransferable.

11.  If awarded scholarship and unable to attend the conference, the recipient will notify the chairperson of the scholarship committee immediately so that another recipient may be selected.

12.  GNCCARN Board and Education Committee reserve the right to determine allocation of funds based on the budget each year.

13.  If selected, reimbursement will be provided after the conference.
